Hi, I’m Coach Katy, Nutrition Coach and owner of Lasting Lifestyle Changes. I’m also a firefighter paramedic. When I’m not working, you’ll find me in the gym, in my garden, or exploring the corners of the globe with my husband Grant.
In my twenties I gained weight. I avoided mirrors and hated being in photos. I was unhappy with how I looked and knew something had to change. I decided to pack up my life in Boston and move to Florida in 2012, and I tried CrossFit. It was hard, and I hated it at first, but I kept going back because I was determined to stop hating my body. Within two years I was competing, coaching, and had built the confidence to become a firefighter paramedic.
Bodybuilding came next, and it changed everything. I used to laugh and say I could never be a bodybuilder because I loved food too much. But stepping on stage forced me to face my fears, learn discipline, and take ownership of how I fueled my body. It showed me that nutrition wasn’t about restriction, it was actually about freedom. That passion grew so strong it led me to become a certified nutrition coach.
Now I help high achieving women break free from the same cycle I once lived in. If you’ve avoided mirrors, dreaded pictures, or tried every plan without finding peace, I understand. Together we can build strength, confidence, and results that last.
Weeks 1-4
We begin with the essentials. This phase focuses on building a strong nutritional base, learning how to balance meals, and fueling the body for energy and progress. Small, realistic changes create momentum and set the stage for everything to come.
Weeks 4-8
With the foundation in place, this is where progress picks up speed. You’ll refine nutrition, strengthen consistency, and add structure to training. Expect to feel stronger, more confident, and start noticing real changes in how your body looks and performs.
Weeks 8-12+ beyond
The final phase is about refinement—fine tuning what works best for your body and lifestyle. You’ll solidify sustainable habits, learn how to adapt when life gets busy, and build confidence in your ability to maintain progress long term. This phase is designed to carry you forward, giving you the tools to thrive well beyond the 12 weeks.
